2020 Opus K - 17.5 points
"The nose is quite buttery, buttered sweetcorn, and there's a remarkable interplay of lime, sweet citrus, oven-roasted oats, honey, nutmeg, apricot pit, and golden apples that could well put you in a Meursault mood. It's ambitious, and the Class brothers have succeeded."
2020 Unartig - 17.5 points
"Hints of clove, sour cream, saffron. Rich flavors that settle into an almost sleepy languor, approaching the lemony-spicy caramel of the cheesecake, but never losing the sheen of Germanic discipline in the precision-crafted acidity. Very impressive."
2020 Eden Sauvignon Blanc - 17 points
"Ripe pineapple, sliced and soaked in juice. Sage. Kiwi. Cardamom. Strong, broad flavors and acidity that spreads in gradually widening circles, effortlessly carrying the wine's age. This is excellent!"
2022 Good Old Times - 16.5 points
"A unique cuvée that really, really works! Winegrower brothers Sebastian and Marcel Class have skillfully blended the characteristics of each variety into a mosaic without any single one dominating—I think it would be very difficult to guess what's in this cuvée. It has lime-and-salt bite and pungency, a taut core of blackcurrant and blackcurrant bud, sweet white peach that wants to become a mango when it grows up, and clementine that makes the cymbals ring. It's vibrant, lifelike, full of astonishing energy."
2019 Halo Ex Ante - 16.5 points
"It smells like Cabernet, but with malty, molasses-like, meaty notes. And the tannins—intense and drying—certainly come from the Cabernet. But Pinot seems to lend its autumnal leafiness. Minty freshness, perhaps coming from the hint of blackcurrant bud that lingers on the finish."
2023 Riesling Estate - 16 points
"A tiny hint of effervescence, and it tastes like it might have a tiny hint of residual sugar. Linden blossom on the nose with traces of petrol on the outermost edges. Lime acidity on the central line, then stones and greengage and a little grin of milky lettuce bitterness. Tightly pulled together and invigorating."
