2022 GOT (GOOD OLD TIMES)*

Our homage to three (almost) forgotten, indigenous grape varieties of Rheinhessen. Since the 2021 vintage, our signature wine has also benefited from the power of our Sauvignon Blanc vineyard.

100% hand-picked, whole-bunch pressing, spontaneous fermentation with the vineyard's own yeast, 6 months of sedimentation, at least 10 months of bottle aging = perfect balance. Delicate, dry cuvée with a long presence on the palate.

Captivating facets of lychee, apple and delicate spice. Elegantly interwoven and wonderfully precise. Straightforward taste with a fine acidity and subtle fruit in the finish.

2022 CLASS A – Grauburgunder vom Kalkmergel*

The best of five Pinot Gris styles combined, multifaceted and straightforward like the limestone marl on which our vines grow in Vendersheim and rounded off by the charm of Pinot Gris.

Fine, spicy bouquet with hints of olive herb and thyme, a little pear, apple, melon and walnut. Creamy fruit taste with gentle acidity and subtle fruit sweetness. The pronounced minerality makes it really crisp at the end, especially for a Pinot Gris.

2020 CLASS A – Grauburgunder vom Kalkriff*

Here we bring together the reductive and oxidative facets that we take from the vineyard into the wine cellar at their extremes and can thus present a wine that combines no fewer than 5 Pinot Gris styles in a unique balance. The result is a Pinot Gris from Neverland. A multifaceted pioneer.

We like to call it an elephant on tiptoes, because at first glance it appears elegant and structured. But with a hand-blown glass, as well as warmth and time, it turns up like a herd of elephants sprinting and can take on Wagyu and the like.
