Rich, golden yellow. Some quince on the nose, woody, smoke, mineral notes, complex. On the palate with pull and pressure, lively acidity, juicy fruit, tightly woven, some delicate honey, orange peel, balanced, still very young. Good structure and great length, great for eating, will mature well.

Our Chardonnay Réserve Apocalypse Now! has been selected from the best grapes from our Chardonnay vineyard in Wolfsheim. After direct whole-grape pressing, the must was fermented in 225L barrique barrels and stored for at least 30 months.

The result is the ride of the Valkyries on the taste buds, as you would otherwise only know it from Francis Ford Coppola's anti-war film. Our recommendation: at least +10°C in large glasses, it is also an unforgettable experience with Outside Skirt or Onglet.

Due to the strict selection, only a small amount per vintage is available for sale. The 2017 vintage was completely filled with corks.
