Harakiri Spätfüllung 10 2019

With Harakiri we combine two old, elegant red wine vines from Rheinhessen, which are not at home in the league of tannic proles but draw attention to themselves with their elegance and a pleasant portion of fruit. This is joined by Cabernet Sauvignon grown on a very calcareous terroir.

In the late filling, our Harakiri is given support through storage in used 225 litre barrique barrels (third - fifth occupancy). The absorption of oxygen during the maturation has made the fruit of the wine deeper - dark fruits such as blackberries and blackcurrants with a good marl-lime saltiness bring tension and depth to the palate.
