Jurassic Sands Sauvignon Blanc 2022

Expressive: cassis, elderberry, but grassy notes always take over. Gooseberry and also some earthy savouriness. The wine fires from all Sauvignon Blanc cannons. It continues the same way on the palate. In addition, there is grip and pleasant texture.

The Jurassic period has significantly shaped our soils. On this particular Sauvignon Blanc site, various sands of the primeval river Rhine, on whose former banks Vendersheim is located, have been deposited. This is what defines the location and gives our Jurassic Sands Sauvignon Blanc its unmistakable character.

Green aromas such as freshly cut grass and gooseberries make the 2022 vintage incredibly invigorating, but there are also hints of ripe passion fruit and stone fruit on the nose and palate. A subtle saltiness and well-integrated acidity bring the drinking flow here to Niagara Falls level. Subtle elegance that is already a lot of fun for us.
