A bottle of Femme Fatale riesling by Neverland Vineyards raised next to Alma food market's store sign in Copenhagen

Our wines land in newly-opened Alma in Copenhagen

Last month, Copenhagen witnessed the doors of its very first Alma food market swing open. This long-awaited opening came just 2 years after Denmark's oldest supermarket, Irma, closed, and part of its original founding team decided to resurrect its concept under a new brand - Alma (named after the grandmother of Alfred Josefsen, who heads the new team).

The food market stays true to its previous form, placing a strong focus on ecology and sustainability, while offering a curated customer experience. Alongside Alma's own produce, its store shelves are stocked with carefully selected items from everyone from Noma Projects to Noon, while all wines are sourced from our Danish importing partner, Husted - including our very own Femme Fatale, Riesling Estate, and Organic Thunder.

Their first store is located in the Frederiksberg neighbourhood, with the second Alma store set to open just around the corner from the Design Museum in May. Watch this space!
