Vendersheim Pinot Noir 2020

Leafy-woodland and cherry aromas and redcurrant pastilles. High acidity, a little bony, and the oak is showing through, but somehow the very delicate wild-berry fruit holds its own with the fine, ribbon-dancing tannins. It paired beautifully with a simple late-spring dish of petits pois, fresh garden mint, spring onions, chicken thighs and bacon simmered in a splash of white wine.

Pinot Noir is a love at second sip - at least for us. After a long evening with French Pinot Noirs in a wine bar in Oslo, we felt and experienced the drinkability, elegance and exciting vibration in our barrels.

The place where this wine was created is called Vendersheim, and shows its character in a rather cool expression. Pure vibration and inspiration for all those who have discovered Pinot Noir for themselves.

Matured in French barrique barrels and bottled unfiltered.
